Tortilla with cheese and leftover chicken. Fast, hot, and easy to fold.

What you need

Only 3 things: tortilla • cheese • cooked chicken
  • 1 tortilla
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • Small handful of cooked chicken

Step 1 of 4
  1. Heat a pan on medium.
  2. Place tortilla in the pan.
  3. Add cheese and cooked chicken to one half.
  4. Fold the tortilla over.
  5. Cook until warm and melty, then flip if needed.
  6. Eat.
Why this works: Leftover protein becomes a hot meal fast, which is way easier than “real cooking.”
  • Pre-cooked chicken makes this much easier. Do not start from raw chicken on low-energy days.
  • Use pre-shredded cheese if that removes friction.
  • This works great for random leftovers.
  • Use ham instead of chicken.
  • Add hot sauce after cooking.
  • Use two tortillas for a thicker version.
  • Add beans if you need more bulk.
